Bengaii Cardinal
Banggai Cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni)
The Banggai Cardinalfish is an elegant and peaceful reef favorite, instantly recognizable by its silver body, bold vertical black stripes, and long, graceful fins dotted with pearly white spots. Native to the Banggai Islands of Indonesia, this species brings a touch of sophistication and calm movement to any aquarium.
Banggai Cardinals are hardy, adapt well to captive life, and are best kept in peaceful community or reef aquariums. Unlike many schooling fish, they are often kept singly, in pairs, or in small groups depending on tank size and temperament.
